I love pretty much anything with hearts on it, so of course, I love this time of year when I get to use tons of hearts on my crafts and in my scrapbooking (as well as in what I wear and how I decorate)! Anyways, I wanted to share with you one of the Valentines goodies that I recently made with my favorite -- lots and lots of lovely HEARTS!
This is a Cosmo Cricket Hanger and I just made three little layered sections to hang from it using mostly Crate Paper Love Notes. But I also used a piece of the gold heart paper from Teresa Collins You are my Happy, a Maggie Holmes heart transparency and some of her project life mini kit journal cards, plus a doily, a gold chevron treat bag, a pink paint sample card, and some die cut hearts out of old book paper and pink tissue paper.
What is great about this hanger project is that you can use it for one holiday, like Valentines day, and then take the three tags off the clips and change them out with new tags (that are Easter-y or Christmas-y or whatever) for a different look. You could even do simple pictures or pictures mixed with tags. You could do another themed piece or do something to keep up all year round...it is so versatile! Although I like this Valentine one so much I may just keep it like that all year and just buy more hangers!
I really like the way this little hanger decoration came out! And it was fast and simple to make, I totally encourage you to get a Cosmo Cricket hanger too and make one yourself! Happy heart month! Oh and this is just the first of several Valentines projects that I will be sharing with you and I will also be teaching you how to make some...so stay tuned!
