Belen with Art & Whimsy back again to share with you my memory keeping layout using the latest kit from the Fairytale Club, "Sweet!" Memory keeping is very important to me. As someone who used to do traditional scrapbooking many years, the desire to document not only special occasions but also everyday moments is still strong. These days I do my memory keeping in my planners, both ringbound and TN style, which really works for me.
I have two mini photo printers that I use regularly, but for this layout I used my HP Sprocket.
After printing a few photos of a Sunday drive that Patrick and I took to Julian, CA for some pie, I trimmed down some cardstock, just a bit bigger than my photos, to create a layered border effect.
I trimmed some cardstock to size and began working on my layout. I used various elements from the ephemera pack to add visual interest around each photo.
I used more bits and pieces from the ephemera pack to embellish my page.
For the opposite side of my memory keeping layout, I added one of the A5 dashboards from the planner kit. This definitely was a fabulous & fun day, so it seemed appropriate.
I couldn't let those pockets go empty, not with so much of that ephemera just waiting to by enjoyed!
Our pie road trip was now memorialized in my planner and sure to make my smile at the warm memory whenever I see it.
xo, Belen
