Howdy Fairytale friends! Kim here to chit chat about my planner set up and a tutorial WITH a video! PHEW.... let's get started!
First of all if you haven't had a chance to see this collection, here and a quick unboxing video I did as soon as this beauty hit my doorstep.
Now then, let's get the ball rolling on this pocket sized planner!!! I started out by making an insert cover using this dotted pattern paper. Fussy cutting this Bambi was a no brainer. I love that he's not brown but teal!! I added some tabs and a die cut to round out this first little dashboard.
I then used all types of her fantastic stickers to trick out my September monthly layout. It's a nice blend of form and function. If you look closely I made an acetate bookmark using the digital files from the collection. Hopefully you'll be able to purchase them soon!
The next piece of acetate I made I did one with a pocket for ephemera or list storage. Planners don't always come with pockets so this is a nice low profile alternative. All I did was place three layers of digital files on top of each other in Photoshop and printed it out onto acetate. I then used my template to cut it out and fold in the correct spots. I talk about it extensively in my You Tube Video but I also am sharing the template with you too!!!
HERE is the file which you can download: http://bit.ly/insertcoverwithpocket
The You Tube video is here when you finish this blog post:
Moving on, I created another acetate to go around my autumn insert. Instead of using a tab punch on this one, I used the tickets and die cuts to create my on special vignette!
Thanks for joining me here today and don't forget to check out the page by page setup using this Fabulous TAKE NOTE collection!
TTFN!
