Hello everyone! Today I'm here with some more fun Memorydex cards for you! This spring, I was lucky enough to take a trip around Asia to all of the Disney parks there and I thought this kit was PERFECT for getting a project started for that trip! Let's get started!
First up, I cut the cards using the Memorydex dies I have in my stash. I cut from the Welcome to Disneyland, My Happy Place and I Heart the Castle papers though you'll see I don't end up using these sides in the end!
Next, I printed pictures of each of the castles (which I had to find online. My pics were bad!) on my Sprocket printer and mounted them on scraps from kit. That black and white paper is my favorite! I need about 30 sheets!
Now it was time for some letters! I grabbed an old Kelly Purkey stamp set I had, some chalk edgers in matching colors and stamped out the abbreviations for the parks. This is where I start getting crazy with the foam tape. One of the great things about Memorydex is that you have a lot of room for layering, so I used that here.
Finally, it was time to embellish a bit! I grabbed some of the die-cut ephemera from the kit pack and some more foam tape and added a bit more color and fun to each card!
So that's it! Memorydex is really fun and easy, assuming you can find the pieces to do it! Luckily, there's a bit of a campaign online to resurrect Memorydex and I really hope it succeeds so that others can have fun with this format! Thanks for checking out my cards and until next time everyone, happy crafting!!
