Hey there! I hope this wonderful season is finding you joyous! Kim here to give you an update on my Advent Planner! If you haven't had a chance, here is the link to my last blog post where I got it all set up...
And of course I'll be continuing to use the generous Jolly Kit and If you haven't seen that, here is an unboxing video for you!
Now that we've covered everything on the back side, let's dive into what I've been working on since we last chit-chatted!
Here is last week's spread. Using the pink alphas from the Sweet Kit, I wrote around them some of the exclamations that I read in that Monday's Bible verse. I then freehand cut a heart and stapled it with a quick doily for some girl fluff and then nestled a couple of die cuts and a sticker for a little forest in the corner.
I have moved this clear divider I made from the kit's acetate to this week and added a tag to it. It's nice to be able to flip right to where I need to be!
On the opposite page, I used the sequins in the kit to make a little Santa scene. Under that gingerbread man to the right, is some secret journaling in a flip up piece made from kit packaging.
On to this weeks pages, I've got a couple new things going on. I added a personal picture on the bottom that I love dearly from years past as well as....
...a wood veneer star just loosely bound by the rings. I used some of the patterned paper and just used some liquid glue to adhere it. After it was dry, I then used my craft knife to fussy cut it out. Quick easy and a nice accent to any planner.
I did add plastic pocket page insert with 2 x 2 slots in between these two facing pages. Along with a square full of sequins, I added a vintage picture with a tag turned into a tab:)
On the other side of it, you can see I added a few more vintage pictures as well as that cute note to Santa.
There isn't much to show yet for the rest of the week (since it's not here yet as I'm writing this) But it doesn't take much to use part of the personal dividers as an extra sweet treat to look forward to!
I very much appreciate your time to stop by and see my work in progress. Look for one more blog post update and then a final video walkthrough in the beginning of 2018! Love ya!
Kim
