Hello there! Allie here today, and I'm sharing my second layout using the Take Note kit. My favorite part of these kits is the patterned paper, and I'm trying to us a many of the patterns on my pages as possible! This layout was no exception.
To create this layout, I cut strips of patterned paper 2.25" wide and scored them .25" on each side. I used a distressing tool to distress the edges and then rolled them up on each side. I each strip on top of each other and adhered them edge to edge, creating a dimensional background!
Next, it was time to add my photo. I backed it with a doily and attached it to the dimensional background using pop dots. I added flowers fussy cut from my favorite paper beneath the doily, and added a puffy sticker title! Finally, I finished off by adding stickers and die cut butterflies.
I had so much fun creating this page, and using all these gorgeous patterned papers! Using a distressing tool or folding up edges of paper is always a great way to add texture and dimension to your photos. Thanks for joining me!
