Hello friends, I'm here today to share a fun love-themed layout! This layout is full of hearts and fun colors, and is all about my adorable dog!

To create this layout, I started with a circle-shaped cut file from the Silhouette store. I backed the cut file with paper from the "Everyday Wishes" collection. Next, inspired by a layout I did with Jolly, I used the beautiful confetti acetate behind the circle to finish the background.

With the background in place, it was time for my favorite part--embellishing! I added lots of hearts and sequins. I thought the perfect title for the heart-filled layout would be "hello love". I l love him so! Finally, I matted the whole layout unto a black and white patterned paper. I love how it turned out! Everyday Wishes Planner Week Layout with Adeline

Hi my fairy friends,

It’s Adeline for the Fairytale Club blog today, I am happy to share with you my planner week layout with Everyday wishes kit.

This kit inspired me with the umbrella and rainbow because in France those days the weather is so rainy….this is from actuality!!!!! And I wanted to put some shiny, flashy and girly color in my planner.

I made my decor with some stickers and ephemeras of the kit.

Finally I decided to create a bookmark with a personal size insert, love this umbrella design. I added some ephemeras again and I have a beautiful bookmark in my planner.

The Garden of Live Flowers with Tiffany

Hey everyone! Tiffany here with a layout using the pattern papers from the Everyday Wishes kit, along with a few bits from Take Note and some packaging from the Girly & Strong kit! I began this layout by pulling out a few of the papers and using a butterfly punch from my stash to punch out some butterflies in two different sizes. I initially wanted to layer them and scatter them about the page, but when I started to gather some other pieces from the kits and my stash to use, the layout sort of changed.

I wanted to use this photo of myself, so after punching the butterflies and layering a small one on top of a big one, I began creating my little layer cluster behind my photo. I layered my photo on top of a black and white pattern paper from the Everyday Wishes kit, then layered that piece over a white paper doily, which I then layered on top of some packaging from the Girly & Strong kit that had light pink bows on it. Behind that cluster, I layered some mint green tissue paper, a piece from a white paper bag and an old book page that I ripped from an Alice in Wonderland book. I really liked the chapter title of that page which read “The Garden of Live Flowers,” so I used that idea of live flowers to build my page.

I set that photo cluster to the side and pulled out some white cardstock to do a bit of mixed media on. I took two different shades of mint green/teal acrylic paint and playfully added some paint to the page. I then added some small black ink splatters and some big white ink splatters onto the page and set that aside to dry. While that was drying, I took the pattern papers I had punched butterflies out of and cut out these wonky four-petal flowers, which I layered to create a bit more dimensional flowers. I added a layered butterfly in the middle of each flower before running them through my sewing machine to stitch them together. I balled up the loose threads in the center of each and bent the butterflies wings up to give the flowers that “being alive” look, which added a lot of texture and dimension to my layout. I then layered those flowers to the right of my photo in a way that makes them look like they are cascading down the side of the photograph.

When my white cardstock was dry and I had my little photo cluster all intact, I glued the cluster down a little off center onto my page. I then embellished it with a few of the extra butterflies I had punched out, so they looked like they are fluttering around my photo cluster. I used the “document” and “hope” puffy stickers from the Take Note kit for my title and placed them on the left side of my photo. I had been having a rough week when I made this layout, so that title combination really stood out to me. I ended up writing a little poem about living in a garden full of live flowers and added that as my journaling at the bottom of my layout. I typed it up and cut them into strips, which I added under my cluster. I also tucked a label sticker from the Take Note kit under my cluster so that there was a little extra mint color poking out from under all those layers.

"Happy Day" Sneak Peek

Hey everybody! It is Andrea here, and I wanted to share with you a cool sneak peek at our next and newest kit/collection, "Happy Day."

This collection is filled with lovely flowers and butterflies, and cute kitties and little houses, and it's got some really awesome retro vibes with cool graphics like milkshakes and rotary phones and fun mod prints.  The color scheme for the collection is pinks and reds and purples and teals.  The patterns range from lovely and classic to fresh and bold.  As always, this Fairytale Club kit is inspired by some of my favorite fairytales, and of course also by my favorite motto, "Live your life as a fairytale."  "Happy Day" is definitely a reflection of this attittude and a reminder that even during the hardest of times, with a little bit of magic, love, and creativity, a happy day is just around the corner.

P.S. I just want to say how much I appreciate everyone's support and patience lately as I continue to struggle with my health problems.  We are, of course, trying our best to get things back on a more regular schedule, but it may take a little bit longer than we had originally thought.  I really hope that you all enjoy "Happy Day," and I can't wait to see all the beautiful things you make with it.  Hugs to everybody out there!  Watch for the full reveal - it will be coming soon!

You are my Favorite with Allie

Hello there! Today I have a fun page to share using the Everyday Wishes collection! I was inspired by the beautiful floral die cuts in the kit, as well as all the beautiful colors and patterns.

This layout was really easy to make! I used a cut file with my Silhouette Cameo to cut out various sizes of Roses. I backed each rose with a different patterned paper and then arranged them on white cardstock to create a background. This was a great way to show off some of my favorite patterns! I used a black and white photo to pop against the roses and then used the flower die cuts I had left around the photo.

Next, I added a few hearts, butterflies, and sequins to complete the layout. It really was that easy! I love it when pages come together quickly. Using large die cuts as a background does most of the work for you. All the flowers and bright colors have me excited for spring! Kim's Planner Using Everyday Wishes

Hi there!  I've done a whole planner set up for you using the Everyday Wishes Kit.  The only reason this is possible is that Andrea's kits are so plentiful with beautiful paper. I made 7 insert covers and 6 dashboard inserts for my B6 with just this kit!

If you haven't seen my unboxing, here it is:

I took way too many pictures, but I was just so happy with the way it turned out, you'll have to suffer through the eye candy shot along with me!

Horizontal pockets stuffed with plenty of old and new goodies from FTSC!  Tags, papers and die cuts make this the beautiful opening canvas every day.

By making a removable insert in my shaker pocket, I am able to change out an insert and put this one in!  My next FTSC blog post will be all about making one with the cute sequins we get in each kit.

My first dashboard insert was made with some patterned paper and a personal dashboard.  The alphas are from the Sweet Collection and are available on their own for purchase if you'd like to snag them.

I fussy cut this from an A5 divider because big and bold is how I usually roll!

I love the plentiful die cut words!  It is possible to create all types of phases and saying that go with just about everything!

Simple and effective: I used my pinking sheers to create a zig zag edge to the insert cover.  I also snagged this 'to' from 'today' for a makeshift on the go list!

I trimmed another divider to make it a focal point on this dashboard. That castle sure make my day happy too!

I love how all of her kits can be combined as well!  The paper was from the Sweet collection, again, but it is paired so well with this birdie!

I do love incorporating pictures into my dashboards and this black and white pattern make a perfect neutral backdrop for any scene.

Like Andrea, I love incorporating stitching in my designs.  It always adds a bit of softness to any layout.

And my favorite pages EVER!  I love the contrast, colors and boldness of this layout.  I never thought that putting a larger design over the same smaller pattern would work but it SO does!

Although the rainbow and the words were printed together, I separated them to overlap on the bottom of this page.  The top is a combination of paper scraps left over and the perfect script of a die cut!

I did do a process video on how I put this together along with some tips on how to speed up a planner set up.  At the end is also a flip through of the entire planner as well!

Violet's Dashboard and Pockets with Everyday Wishes

Hello, Violet on the blog today. I am using this adorable kit in my A5 planner. 

I’m loving all the magical vibes I’m getting when I open my planner. I love to stuff my pockets with items I will be using to plan. They are perfect little keepers. 

The word ephemera worked perfectly for tabs. I added them to the sides of my dividers.

Adding Embroidery to Project Life with Carrie

Hello Everybody!  It's Carrie, and today I have a spread in my Project Life album about these amazing puzzles I recently found.  They are by Thomas Kinkade and are Disney themed!!  Eeek!  Any other puzzle lovers out there?!? Lol ; )

Everything on these two 6x12 pages (apart from the photos) is from the Everyday Wishes Kit, and I just love how the colors compliment my Princess & The Frog puzzle!

For the two 3x4" journal cards, I cut this cute rainbow paper in half and found matching embroidery thread for each color of the rainbow.  Then I found these three hearts from the die-cut pack and popped them up near their matching colors.

The black and white "today" is from another die-cut pack of all scripted words.  These are one of my favorite products in the whole kit!  I personally think the addition of black really pulls a spread together.  Anyways, I popped the "today" up since this was the day I finished my first Thomas Kinkade Disney puzzle : )

I decided to add my journaling on the opposite page, and typed directly onto some patterned paper using my typewriter.  I rolled the pink paper a bit and popped up the top edge for added interest.  Also, there are lots of dark pink lines on this same strip of paper, and decided to use my paper trimmer to cut along two of the lines creating a flap so I could tuck my photo into it.

As a final touch for this spread I made another flap in the strip of paper to tuck in the bottom of my photo to match the top.  Then, I added a small pink and white journaling spot from one of the cut apart sheets and layered a popped up purple ticket.  I knew that I wanted to add embroidery on this page as well, so I decided to add purple thread to the ticket.....and that's it!

Hello Love with Carolee

With Valentine's Day being tomorrow, I wanted to try and make a card that you could give to a close friend without all the pinks and reds of Valentine's Day. I dug into my Everyday Wishes kit and created a really fun card I can't wait to send to a friend!

First up, I wanted to create a "landing strip" for everything. I did this by cutting the piece of pink polka dot cardstock down to a 5x10" strip and folding it in half to make a 5x5" square card. Next, I took the back of one of the personal size planner dividers, cut that down to 3x5" and adhered it down. Lastly, I took a 2.5x5" strip of plain white cardstock and started to build!

First up was the sentiment! I grabbed the "hello" sticker from the sticker sheet and "love" from the word die cuts and put them in the bottom right corner with a bit of overlap.

Then the fun part, decorating! I grabbed up a bunch of different heart shape die cuts from both the words and ephemera packs and laid them down. Then I filled in the rest with sequins because there's always room for sequins!

So that's it, my quick and easy card to send love without those Valentine's Day colors. I hope you liked it and it inspired you in your own card making! Until next time, happy crafting!
