Aimee's Disney "December Dreams" Layout

Hey all Aimee here on the eve x2 of Christmas Eve, Say What? Really it’s a thing!

Anyways, I am throwin’ it back today with a Christmas layout using the “December Dreams” kit.

This photo of my husband and I was taken at Disneyland in 2009. Look how skinny he was!

We started dating in 2009, so at that time he really didn’t say no to Disneyland. I remember dragging him to Disneyland the week of Thanksgiving that year. I think he about killed me. But I’m so happy I have these photos and memories.

I really went out of my comfort zone with this layout. I rarely use such a busy background for my layouts.

For my 8.5 x 11 layout, I started off my trimming down the clear acetate sheet “You Have the Key” to fit inside my white cardstock. Next I used one of the A5 dashboards to give my layout a nice pop of red.

I layered some of the die cuts with 3-d adhesive foam, in different thicknesses at the bottom left corner of my page. For another added affect, I added some red eye lash thread amongst my die cuts. I used my tiny stapler to attach the thread to my layout.

And don’t forget the tiny die cut stars that I stapled to the top left side of my layout!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by the blog today, I’m sure you have a ton of things to get done before the BIG day next week.

Do you have all your shopping, decorating, crafting done?

XOXO, Aimee

Aimee's "Wonderful World of Disney" Memory Planner Spread!

Hey all, Aimee here to share a spread from my memory planner.

01_Aimee_2018_08_11.jpg

August is a special month for me, and especially this year. My husband’s birthday is August 5th, our 1 year wedding anniversary is August 10th and my 40th birthday is August 15th.

So I thought it was pretty important that I make a special planner spread! And when I saw this calendar layout in the WWOD Kit I just knew it was meant to be.

Now that I have the most important dates marked for this month, I can’t wait to see what other memories are made for me to cut and paste and add to this spread!

Do you have a month in your life that is flooded with wonderful things?

XOXO Aimee

Ice Cream Cone Embellishments with Solange

Hey crafty friends!  Solange here with these cute ice cream cone embellishments using “The Wonderful World of Disney” kit, which I am so excited to be working with!

01-Solange-2014-07-14.jpg

These simple and cute ice cream cones are great to use as decor or to decorate a happy mail package!

02-Solange-2014-07-14.jpg

To create these cones, start out by cutting a piece of 6x6 paper and then roll it into a cone shape and secure it with hot glue.

Cover a 3 inch foam ball with tissue paper with a color that matches your paper. You can find these foam balls in the floral section of your craft store.

Then glue your foam ball to the cone and add some cute trim around the edge to cover up the glue and to make your cone even cuter! Lastly, add sequins to the top to look like sprinkles and decorate using the ephemera and flair from the kit!

These are so quick and easy to make and will make your happy mail extra cute. See you next time, Solange.

The Wonderful World of Disney - Enamel Pin
$7.00

This beautiful soft enamel pin features the castle logo of The Fairytale Club with two song birds underneath the castle holding a ribbon between them. The pretty, pastel pinks, lavenders, and blues of this pin are just the epitome of creamy, fairytale deliciousness. And it has a lovely, white, scalloped edge to finish off the look. The pin is a perfect size, too, at ~1 1/2" high and ~1 1/8” wide. It’s big enough to be seen from a bit of a distance but in no way overpowers at close range. This castle pin is a great addition to your fairytale pin collection or the perfect way to get one started!

Hand-designed by Andrea Bethke and exclusive to The Fairytale Club.
