Hey guys, welcome back for another fun project using the “Hello Beautiful” collection. I’ve been having so much fun creating with this beauty, that I hope you guys have been getting inspired by my projects. Today I’m sharing these super cute and super fun doily tags. Sometimes I want to create tons of crafts but I don’t have the time to spend hours doing so. With that being said these are very easy and fast to make and get your crafting on. I used a doily metal die to cut the base for the tag. Then I punched 2-inch circles for layering purposes and to give some dimension. I propped them up on some pop dots also for a little extra. Then on each tag, I used some of the word ephemera pieces, and to finish them off I added some ribbon, enamel dots and those super glittery and super fun bows. But yes u guys, that’s my project for today I hope you guys enjoyed and got super inspired to create some for yourself. Happy Crafting, until next time 💕
Beautiful Colorado with Laura
Hi everyone, it's Laura back again to share another 12"x12" layout. A few weekends ago I visited the state of Colorado for a long weekend, and I've been waiting to scrap a few pictures from the trip. I knew I wanted to use some of the special paper I'd been saving from the Hello Beautiful Kit
I especially loved the blue floral print "Fairest" and wanted to choose a layout that would let this paper shine. I chose a simple grid layout with two of my favorite pictures of my trip to Garden of the Gods, a stunning park in Colorado.
I also wanted to use some of the beautiful gold printed vellum. Since it was not wide enough to stretch all the way across the page, I cut strips and layered them. I also used my scissors to cut fringe in the vellum to add some movement and dimension to the page.
Overall I love how the saturated blues and greens in these papers compliment the beautiful photos of my trip. There are so many fun patterned papers in this kit, it was fun to combine several of them in this layout.
Hello Beautiful Tag Flip with Solange
Hello crafty friends, Solange here sharing this very whimsical tag flip using the “Hello Beautiful” kit.
To make a tag flip I usually start by cutting out different sized tags from the pattern papers. I then lay them out side to side and start the fun part: decorating!
I decorate each tag individually and I start with the cover because it’s always my favorite ehehe.
For the first tag, I added one of the ephemera pieces and some of the florals that I fussy cut from the papers. To soften the look, I added some pretty vintage lace trim which makes it very whimsical and adds texture.
To make it even more fun, I added a shaker pocket to one of the tags to add a cute touch. To give the tags dimension I added foam tape to prop up some of the pieces - it makes a huge difference!
Then comes my favorite part: putting it all together into one very super cute tag flip. I added a bunch of different trims of various colors which ties everything together. Lastly, to make it more magical, I added a tiny glass container with a fun sequin mix and tied it to the front and voila!
Tag flips have become one of my favorite type of snail mail and they look so cute hanging on display. I hope this inspires you to make one of your own and I can’t wait to see what you create!
Dianna's Weekly Planner Spread
Hey there friends! It’s Dianna, back with my weekly planner spread using the Hello Beautiful kit!
I used the pretty pastel papers to create this lovely spread! Aqua and pink are my faves so I concentrated on those shades and some black polka dots! It’s a great combo!! To make this planner spread I cut out my paper to fit the dimensions of the boxes in my weekly planner insert. It was super easy and I just used my tape runner to add adhesive to the back of the paper and glued it in place! I love the ledger style paper. It worked perfectly to add some of my to-do’s.
I also cut some of the paper into strips to look like washi tape and layered it in a couple of places. To make the paper clips I simply hot glued the flair button and bow die cut to some gold paper clips.
A few embellishments from the die cuts and sticker sheet and all done! Oh, and I added a little layering on the edge with some ruffle lace too!
Hope you like it! Have a beautiful weekend! 💗
"The Wonderful World of Disney" Special Event Kit Full Reveal!!!
Hello there everyone! It’s Andrea here, and today I want to share with you the full reveal of our beautiful new specialty kit “The Wonderful World of Disney” which we made special for, and revealed at, our recent papercrafting event at Disneyland! It is such an amazing kit and just filled with the cutest vintage-retro Disney designs! I don’t know about you, but I love Disney! And the only thing better than Disney is vintage Disney!!! There is so much nostalgic awesome-ness in this collection and I can’t wait to show it all to you!
First, let’s talk about what the kit was inspired by and what it is all about. Whenever we have a special event, we do a special kit that is specifically made and themed for the event and the project that goes with that event/class. We have had a couple events before at Disneyland and they are always filled with Disney magic and they focus on a particular Disney theme (like “Mad Tea Party” for our Alice in Wonderland themed event and “Spooky” for our Haunted Mansion themed event)...and this time was no different! For our most recent event at Disneyland, the theme was “The Wonderful World of Disney,” which was about vintage Disney and the opening of Disneyland in 1955. And it is specifically about the show “The Wonderful World of Disney” which Walt Disney created in order to hype the park’s opening. In the show he revealed sneak peeks of the park and specifically its cool rides and attractions. For this reason, the collection is filled with lots of vintage Disney and Disneyland favorites from the 50’s and 60’s, like rides such as Dumbo and Teacups and It’s A Small World, and vintage Disney symbols like the castle, Mickey and Minnie, and the Mouseketeers!
This new collection, “The Wonderful World of Disney,” is so magical, and I love it so much! I know you will love it, too! Let’s take a look at all the cute goodies inside the kit, shall we? First, let's look at all the beautiful patterned papers in the kit. As you can see, the color scheme for this collection is composed of lots of pretty pastels combined with classic black and white. So there are lots of cute light pinks and lavenders and blues and yellows. This color scheme is perfect for the vintage vibe of the collection as it helps evoke that sweet, whimsical, and mid-century modern feeling of Disneyland back when it first opened in 1955.
This vintage-retro vibe especially comes through in the types of patterns in the collection, not just the colors. I am so happy with the way the patterns came out in this collection. They are super duper cute! And oh so vintage Disney! I have lots of favorites in this collection, and one of my favorites is the beautiful black and white patterned paper called “Mouseketeer”! It is so adorable and it has lots of vintage icons in it, including some cute little atomic images and the vintage Disneyland “D” and also the old Mouseketeer hat. On the back of this paper, is a beautiful multi-colored hexagon pattern that sort of gives an ombré effect.
Another favorite pattern of mine in the collection is the “Welcome to Disneyland” pattern that has the word Disneyland all across it. It is inspired by the vintage Disneyland hotel sign and is way cute!
I also really love the pattern called “The Wonderful World of Disney” (just like the name of thee collection), it has a kind of tile pattern which can either look like cubes or stars depending on how you look at it and which, with all of its various colors, feels very pretty and magical! On the back of this paper is another fave pattern of mine, the cute little lavender Minnie ears! They are so beautiful! And the pattern reminds me of my own collection of Minnie ears which I love to wear!
“I Heart the Castle” is another favorite and super beautiful pattern from the collection, and it of course has the lovely Sleeping Beauty castle from Disneyland on it!
The balloon pattern on the back of the “My Happy Place” paper is also so special and cute! It just makes me smile!
And I love the blues on both sides of the “It’s a Small World” paper! The geometric pattern on the front is awesomely retro! And the cute little Small World happy faces on the back are just so sweet!
Finally, let's take a look at the cut-apart sheets in the collection. There is the first one, called “Disney Girl,” and the second one, called “Hi Mickey Mouse." They are filled with fabulous vintage images like my cute, pink-haired Mouseketeer girl, Dumbo from the Flying Elephant ride, the Sleeping Beauty castle, the spinning Teacups, Small World, and Mickey and Minnie of course! And they each have some really pretty vintage-retro patterns on the back of them as well!
Alright, now that we have looked at the pretty patterned papers in the collection, lets take a look at the embellishments in “The Wonderful World of Disney”. This collection has a few really cute embellishments in it. One of which is the ephemera pack. The ephemera pack in this collection is super duper cute! I always love the ephemera packs in our kits! This one may be my absolute favorite though! It has some really amazing bits and pieces in it, like my cute little teacups, adorable little Mickey Mouse silhouettes, and cool script words like “magic” and “believe.” And some of my favorite die-cut pieces in it include the heart piece where Mickey and Minnie are kissing, the pretty, multi-colored “Love” word piece, the Small World building, Mickey and Minnie Mouse faces, and the cool vintage Tinkerbell piece with the castle in the background. And that’s just to name a few!
Now let's take a look at the pretty flair buttons that come in the collection. These flair are my most favorite ever I think! There is a really pretty castle, a cute Mouseketeer hat, Mickey and Minnie’s faces, the Small World face, and the vintage Disney D!
And before we talk about another super special embellishment (which I am saving to talk about at the end), let’s go ahead and look at all the super amazing planner divider pages that come in “The Wonderful World of Disney”! These dividers are so beautiful and vintage fabulous!
Just like the patterned papers in this collection, I have lots of favorite planner dividers too! One of my favorites is the cool divider that says “The Wonderful World of Disney” on it. It is so very pretty with the ombré/rainbow effect on the words and also the cute little Tinkerbell floating about on the page with her magical wand!
Another favorite divider of mine is the oh so pretty Small World one with my version of the ride's building on it. I designed it to be quite colorful, with all the lovely pastels and I think it looks super cute with the fun banners and numbers and the sweet and happy clock face!
I super love the romantic Mickey + Minnie divider with the big heart, the signatures and their cute little mouse faces on it! Way cute!
The Dumbo divider is also really sweet and cute and definitely another fave! It is a depiction of the Dumbo The Flying Elephant ride and is very vintage and whimsical with the pretty pinks!
Of course the castle divider is way beautiful and one of my absolute favorites too!
I really love the phrase dividers that come in this collection too! Especially the one that says “Make Magic Each Day” on it!
And I also really, really love the divider with my cute vintage pink-haired Mouseketeer girl! She is a big Disney fan just like me! The calendar dividers are so cool and useful too!
Finally, now that we have gone through all of the cute dividers in “The Wonderful World of Disney,” let’s talk about what I think to be the best and coolest part of the collection and a new and super special surprise that I made particularly for this special event collection and which I am so very excited about!...our new enamel pin!
Yes, that is right, we made a pin! And it is so very super duper adorable and girly and vintage-kitschy-cute! It is in pretty pinks and lavenders and blues and looks super “Kuwaii” if you ask me! It is a fun pink cameo of the Sleeping Beauty Disneyland castle and it has the sweet little Disney birds with a big pretty bow on it! I just absolutely love it! It is perfect to use to wear and also perfect to put on your planner/scrapbook album as another embellishment!!! It is just perfect! I am super excited about this pin and I hope that it is just the first of many pins from The Fairytale Club to come!
Alright, now that’s it for this reveal of the new “The Wonderful World of Disney” collection. I hope you enjoyed it and are as excited about it and in love with it as I am! The collection is up for sale now! Talk to you later everyone!
Hugs! — Andrea
Love This with Carrie
Hello Everybody! Carrie here with my first hybrid layout using the lovely Hello Beautiful Kit. This was such a fun layout to put together because I LOVE printing digital papers onto a transparency using my inkjet printer. It's actually one of my favorite ways to use digital papers ; ) However, I think I should note that I did change the leaf color of the flower paper slightly in Photoshop to blend with the green in my accompanying photo before printing. I knew I wanted to print out this paper onto transparency specifically because I love the design, and having it on transparency almost makes it "glow", plus I thought the pink tones would bring out the slight pink in the photo (which makes me happy).
As an additional hybrid technique I decided to use one of the free frame cut files with some white cardstock and my Silhouette Cameo. The cut file comes sized to 12 inches tall, and I shrunk it down to 11 inches tall in the Silhouette software before cutting. To begin the assembly of this layout, I chose the white and black pokadot paper for my background. Next, I layered the inside of the frame with the flower transparency, trimming the excess with scissors before attaching it all to the background. I decided to use the white cardstock behind the transparency so it would pop instead of get lost with the pokadot pattern. Then, I adhered the actual frame on top of it all, and used my paper trimmer to trim the excess off of the right side of the 6x12 inch layout.
For my title, I chose the phrase "love this" out of silver glitter from the American Crafts Cedar Lane Thickers. The silver color matches the gray in the opposite photo almost perfectly. However, I did add in a gold glitter heart to dot the "i" since the photo also has a lot of that same golden color. Of course, just one heart wasn't enough so I ended up adding in two more.
As a final step I decided to add my journaling onto a popped up tag. I used white cardstock and my typewriter for the text, and created the tag using the backside of the "hello beautiful" tag that came in the die cut pack. Then, I layered it with more of the printed transparency which is attached to the tag using a silver eyelet. To make the text stand up a little without adding bulk I attached it to the tag using glue dots. Lastly, I trimmed off the bottom of the tag to make it this final length and popped it up using a square piece of foam paper.....and that's it!
Thanks so much for taking a look at my first hybrid project here. As you can see from the full spread photo it is now sitting neatly in my Project Life album which is quickly filling up with a mixture of my photos, as well as lots of the awesome product Andrea designs for these kits. See you next time! : )

A Scrappy Divider with Carolee
Hey everyone! I'm back from my trip and here to share with you a new project I made with the adorable Hello Beautiful kit!
I was inspired by our friend Tiffany to try scrapping in my A5 planner and with so many photos and memories I wanted to see on the regular, this type of scrapping was perfect for moments from my recent trip through Asia. This way, I'll get to see the lovely castle from Shanghai Disneyland every time I open my planner!
I started out by prepping the planner page. The great thing about this style is that you can use up pages from planners that you're not using. Here, I'm using some inserts I picked up awhile ago that just didn't work out for me. I punched out a tab and the hole reinforcers from Fairest with some punches I had in my stash. I glued everything on and then added a couple of staples to the tab for a bit of shine.
Next up, it was time to get to work on the photo. I matted the photo down on some of the Happy paper and then added some hearts with modeling paste to add some extra texture. I placed a Mickey paper clip from my stash in the upper left corner to add a bit of interest up there. Next, I layered a couple pieces from the A and B sides of the Enchanted Forest to finish up the stack.
To finish up the front, I added the yellow floral die cut to add a bit more bright color and floral to tie in with the bits from Fairest.
The last step was to reinforce the whole sheet by adding one of the dividers to the back side. I picked this absolutely adorable deer and rabbit one. How cute are they together? Just like Bambi and Thumper!
I hope you all liked this project and that it inspired you to try scrapping for your planner. Until next time, happy crafting!
Making a Greeting Card with Michelle
Hi there, crafty people! Michelle here, back with another fun project using the “Hello Beautiful!” kit! For this project, I made a greeting card to send to a dear friend of mine.
As I wrote in my last post, I recently went on a vacation with my husband to Portland, Oregon. While we were there, we went to an Asian supermarket! The were aisles filled with different and unique kinds of snacks and beauty products that I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to find in any other store. A particularly fun section was the bookstore, with all of its pens, stationery, and books! I ended up getting quite a few things for myself and things to give as gifts to friends. And what goes better with a gift than a handmade card?
For the cover of this greeting card, I started out knowing that I wanted to use the red lined ledger paper, and a strip of the rose “Enchanted Forest” pattern. From there, it was all about adding elements that I thought went together really well! I loved the idea of using the ephemera that looks like a letter to Snow White on the front, plus some of the other ephemera bits. I really wanted the “hello” tag to stand out from the rest of the card, so I layered it on top of gold glitter paper (because who doesn’t love a touch of gold glitter?) and a mounting square, to really set it apart.
For the inside of the card, I couldn’t just leave it plain! One of the many things I love about these kits from The Fairytale Club is the little strip at the bottom of the 12x12 sheets that you can cut off and use! So I decided to do that for the left inside bottom of the card. I cut off the decorative strip that had those beautiful vines, added the bunny ephemera piece, and finished it off with “You are beautiful”, which was another of those pieces at the bottom of a 12x12 sheet.
For the opposite page, I knew that I wanted to use Snow White somehow. I fussy cut her out of a larger piece, and it fit just perfectly at the bottom of the “You are my favorite!” tag! I originally punched out a hole in the greeting card where I was going to tie the tag to the card, but I decided I liked the look of the bow at the top better, so that’s how I finished it off!
It has been so fun to bring you these projects from the “Hello Beautiful!” kit, and with the reveal of the next kit so close, I hope you are getting just as excited as I am to see what is in store! Until next time,
Michelle
Adeline's Red Patent Traveler's Notebook
Hi my fairy friends! It’s Adeline today, with my second project of the month with the "Hello Beautiful!" kit. If you remember, last time I shared with you the set up of my ice blue planner. Today it is time for my red patent traveler's notebook, which is just as perfect for the design of this collection. This time I made two covers for my notebooks and some flag paper clips, which are so in fashion right now. So let's discover my beautiful decorations inspired by the universe of Snow White.
I hope you liked this project! I'll be back soon with another post!
Kiss from France,
Adeline
"Our Beautiful Life" Minibook Flip Through with Carrie
Hello Everybody! Carrie here with a video flip through of a new minibook I created using the bright and colorful "Hello Beautiful!" kit!! I just love how the colors in this kit make my photos pop! At the beginning of this video you'll see a quick 1 minute flip through with no talking. However, after the quick flip is a detailed walk through of all the product I used as well as how I put it all together.
Some of what you'll see is a patchwork 4x6 card using the 2x2 inch squares from one of the cut apart sheets.
My title page with popped up elements and a little added glitter.
My favorite color is green so this gorgeous retro leaf paper might be one of my all time favorite papers ever!
A couple peek-a-boo elements with back to back tags and some sequins for extra sparkle.
As well as how I have this cute little birdie "flying" over my journal card as well as the photo on the opposite page.....plus there's even more!
I hope you enjoy, and thanks for taking a look. Happy crafting!!! :) Carrie
