Hello everybody! The full reveal for our new collection, “I’m in Wonderland,” will be posted soon, and we are so excited to share it with you! In the meantime, we have a few projects to share using previous collections from The Fairytale Club. Here’s talented design team member Kellie Winnell with a cute tag holder and tags, featuring the Magical and Mischievous collection.

Hi there everyone, Kellie here today, it's been a while since I've come to share anything here, but that will soon change as I have some projects I've been working on.  For now let me how you this one.  Sharing something a little different from me today and to be honest this was a bunch of fun to make. So much so that I grabbed a different kit and created same again, more to come on that.  But for this one I grabbed the Magical and Mischievous kit.  So good, still one of my faves. ⁠

I followed the youtube video from the talented @iamabsolutelyalice which was super simple to follow and LOVING the end results with the Magical and Mischievous kit that is still my all time favourite from The Fairytale Club, because @andreabethkedesigns nailed it.

I'm actually really happy with how this came out and might even start looking to make a bunch to send out to make someone day.  But don't hold me to that, I think I'm going to start a lot of things, haha!

"I'm in Wonderland!": New Collection Sneak Peek...yaaaaay!

Hello there everyone! It's me, Andrea Bethke, owner and creator of this here Fairytale Club, and I am just so excited because today I finally get to show you all a sneak peek of what I have been working on for a while now -- and that is our next and newest collection : "I'm In Wonderland!"

"I'm in Wonderland!" is a beautiful collection which I am so proud of and excited to present to you! This collection is bright and lovely and happy and just makes me happy! It has a gorgeous color scheme that is very rainbow-y, which I love! "I'm In Wonderland!" is filled with joy and magic and vibrance and a sense of wonder and a sense of humor that I just find so aesthetically and emotionally pleasing! And as you can see, for this beautiful new collection, I was very much inspired by Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" as well as the classic Disney animated movie, "Alice in Wonderland". So in this collection, you will find my own versions of some of my favorite characters from the story -- such as Alice, the Cheshire Cat, and the Queen of Hearts! You will also find some lovely talking flowers! They are so cute...and living their best life in a golden afternoon in Wonderland, with sweet and silly bread-and-butterflies flying over them as they do! Of course there is plenty of tea...and many, many different and adorable teacups...including teacups with a dormouse inside of them! And this is not all...there is so much more! And I can't wait for you to see everything! But for now, at least there is this cool sneak peek so you can see some of the goodies that are in "I'm In Wonderland!"

Now, after having given a bit of an intro to this new collection, I want to apologize to everyone for how long it took me to make it. I know that it has been a while in between this collection and the last one...so let me begin with saying this -- when I tell you that this year has been an extremely rough one for me so far, please believe that that is actually a little bit of an understatement. Still, I feel bad that you guys have had to wait a bit longer than usual and I am sorry for that, truly! I don't want to go into all of it, but between my health/my CRPS condition getting worse (both because of it spreading, and also the new government policies that have made it much more difficult for me to get the care/medicine that I need), the robbery of my house (which as you can imagine caused all kinds of problems, including the loss of a lot of my design work, because, yes, they stole my computer, and no, I did not back up as much as I should have), and also the unfortunate diagnosis that my father just recently received (we sadly found out that he has cancer), it's been tough this year, to say the least. As you can see, things are quite hard right now (and that’s just some key things that have happened so far this year to make it rough...it's not even all of it...). But, subsequently, it took me a long time to create this collection, and I'm sorry...things happened that were beyond my control and I just had to do my best and work whenever I could, so I thank you all so much for your patience and your understanding during this difficult time!!

Anyways, I'm sorry to be such a downer. I know it is a little odd to read about these things in a papercrafting collection sneak peek... But I wanted to share a little bit of what is going on in my life with you guys...not just because I want you to know, but also because I think it helps to understand a lot of where this collection came from... You see, I think that the craziness that has occurred in my life over the last several months has actually helped inform this collection, in a way, because I really felt like I could relate to Alice falling down that rabbit hole. I can definitely understand what it is like to feel completely out of control and lost and vulnerable the way that Alice does in the story. And it is quite scary actually to feel like you are literally falling and the world is very upside down and strange and sad and crazy even! Despite all that though, I find myself moving forward, just like Alice! I am slowly but surely moving forward and learning from these experiences and overcoming these challenges and navigating my way back from it all, while at the same time also appreciating the moments that come in between the scary and the sad...the moments that are truly beautiful and curious and wondrous! So, If I leave you with one thing today, in addition to, "hey, look at this really cool collection I made and please go subscribe to our kit-club OR buy this one individually when it comes up for purchase (which will be soon)!", it is this: Never forget to look around you and appreciate all the magic in this life, because it is there even during the hardest of times...it is in the light and the color of the places that you enjoy, in the hobbies and passions that you have and the things that you make, in the kindness and the love of the people that you love, and it is inside you too, in your own beautiful Wonderland of an imagination!!! This collection is perfect for a project like this one, and I really hope this post inspires you to create one for one of your friends. It’s definitely easier than it looks, trust me.. Water Color and Peonies with Aimee

It’s Aimee again! Today I got messy with the “Beautiful Dreamer” Kit and just had to share with you!

 I went way out of my comfort zone with this one! I mixed water colors with a fancy cut paper and machine stitching.

 I started this layout off by using a cut file from Kim Watson, you can find the file here.  I scaled down the file and cut it using the “Her Name is Aurora” 12x12 paper. You guys, this paper is so beautiful and the decision to cut it was so hard to make!

 I printed my photo to look like a polaroid picture.

 I marked where I was going to adhere my photo and I water colored around the outside of those marks.

Now, I really don’t know how to water color. I just moved some color and water on the paper and this is the final look! This is WAY out of my comfort zone.

 After it dried, I placed a heavy book on my paper and let it dry overnight {I don’t care for how the paper gets wavy after you have put paint/water on it - another reason why this is out of my comfort zone}

 I adhered my photo to my paper and then stitched around the photo several times.

I used some stickers from the sticker sheet to complement the photo, and then I placed my cut file over my photo, adhering it with 3-d foam adhesive.

 I also dated the layout with my date roller stamp! 

 How often do you leave your comfort zone when scrapping???

Kellie's Nap Queen Layout

Hey there crafty people.  It's Kellie here with you again to share a mini layout in my pocket page notebook, using the NEW and gorgeous, Beautiful Dreamer kit.  I wanted to keep this rather simple to keep the focus on the photo and my daughters beautiful hair colour and this kit allowed for just that.
  For this layout I wanted to try something new, new to me.  There are so many amazing hearts in this kit and I LOVE that!  I decided to have three hearts on the pocket going down in a line, vellum in the front and the cardstock hearts backing them.
I then got out my old sewing machine and.................. the top one moved, ugh.  I didn't let it stop me and the other two hearts came out perfect.  The old, two out of three ain't bad.

The sticker, NAP QUEEN could not had been more perfect for this teen of mine.

I decided to use the bottom strips of the 12 x 12 pattern papers as washi tape, they are truly perfect for that use.

Mother's Day Card with Carrie

Hello Everybody. Today I’m sharing a Mother’s Day card I put together for my mom using the lovely Beautiful Dreamer Kit. Sleeping Beauty is my favorite Disney animation so I super love the inspiration behind this beautiful kit.

To begin, I knew I wanted to use the gorgeous big floral 12x12 paper from the kit cut down for my card base along with the chipboard alphas. So I loosely placed the chipboard onto the floral paper and used a small heart shaker insert from Jellibean Soup to fill up the extra space at the end of the word “mothers”. I filled the shaker with sequins that matched the background paper, cut a heart out of the paper, and placed the shaker insert in the heart space so the edges were hidden inside the card and the shaker is peeking through the hole.

I attached the chipboard and shaker insert to the card base and then cut my card down to size. The “Happy” and “Day” from the sticker sheet are popped up using foam adhesive to state my “Happy Mother’s Day” sentiment. To tie in the sequins from the shaker I placed a few of the same color on top of the sentiment layered with little rhinestones for extra sparkle.

Lastly, I used some foam adhesive to pop up three small hearts from the sticker sheet, and glued the crown from the die cut pack onto the top of the heart shaker…..and that’s it. Thanks for taking a look at my project and I’ll see you next time : ) Carrie

Lilly's Handmade "Beautiful Dreamer" Cards

Welcome back to the blog, guys!!! Today I’m sharing some fun handmade cards I made using the “Beautiful Dreamer” collection.

I love how fun and bright these handmade cards look. That cute bird is one of my favorite elements from the collection.

What I usually do to make my hand made cards is use a 8.5 x 11 piece of 110lb cardstock, cut 5x7 cards, and decorate away. Add a little stitching and some cute layering, and you got yourself a card your crafty friend would love.

One of my crafty secrets is that when I don’t have much time to craft, I tend to make a cute card because they are fast and easy to make :) Thx for stopping by guys, catch you on my next post 💗

Aimee's "Eat Sleep Scrap Repeat" Layout

Hi everyone, it’s Aimee! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. But I am so excited to be back and sharing this layout with you, using the brand new kit Beautiful Dreamer!

So basically just scrap lifted this page from Paige Evans! I knew this cut file would look so awesome with the Beautiful Dreamer Kit!

To create this page, I started off using a cut file from Paige Evans. You can find the EAT SLEEP SCARP REPEAT cut file here.

I cut the it using plain white cardstock, I then used 7 different papers from the BD kit. Actually, I just used 4 different sheets that are double sided!

I separated the cut file and cut EER + LAT from “Spring Dream”, APE + SRA from “Her name is Aurora” TSP from” Beautiful Dreamer” and heart CE + EP from “Believe”.

 I backed the cut file and then placed all the letters inside the cut file. I then ran the whole cut file threw my sewing machine for a bit more dimension.

I used “Flora Fauna, and Merryweather” 12x12 as my base. I used 3-d foam adhesive to “POP” the cut file off the page. I used a border punch to punch the bottom of “Make it Pink, Make it Blue”.

I used a square instax photo for my layout. I layered it with a pink frame from the Variety pack, and used mini staples to secure it in place. I also layered the castle die-cut and a vellum butterfly die cut from the Variety pack over my photo.

To finish off the layout I layered the blue bird and yellow butterfly from the Floral Emphemera kit under the cut file for dimension.

I love how the 12x12 “Flora Fauna, and Merryweather” paper helps give the layout depth and dimension with the faux paint and handwriting. It makes all the layers POP!
